We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the double queen room, which easily accommodated our family of 4 and all our luggage. the room was clean and well-stocked with amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. the location was perfect for our trip to Redwood National Park, with easy access to nearby restaurants and gas stations. the staff was kind and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the hot breakfast, available in a convenient "grab and go" format, was excellent. a great hotel for families and an ideal base for exploring the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, and they even charged me for only half a day when I checked out early. The room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. The hotel also had a nice grassy area for dogs, which was perfect for my furry friend. The breakfast had a great variety of dishes and was convenient for grab-and-go. The location was also convenient, with restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store nearby. Additionally, the hotel was only about a 10-minute drive from the little airport in the Humboldt County area.

During my recent stay at the Best Western in Arcata, I was pleasantly surprised by the newly remodeled room. The fresh paint, new furniture, and overall cleanliness created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of hot and fresh options, and the dining area was spacious and well-maintained. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the hotel's large lawn area with a designated smoking gazebo was a nice touch. Additionally, the combination indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub provided a great way to relax. I had a quiet and enjoyable experience in my room located at the rear of the hotel.

While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom door showed signs of rot at the bottom, and there was a lack of caulking between the tile and the tub.

The updated lobby and modern room designs were a pleasant surprise! the staff at the front desk were friendly and check, in was quick and easy. the hotel's location right off the freeway was convenient, especially after a long day of driving. Additionally, the pet, friendly amenities, like the well, maintained lawn and doggy waste disposal stations, were a great bonus for our furry companion.

We were disappointed to find out that the pool was not open during our stay. the rooms were slightly dingy and the shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers in the bathroom didn't work properly.

I recently stayed at Best Western in Arcata for two nights while traveling alone. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel has undergone renovations and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was the best I've had in a long time. The hotel also stood out as one of the few in the area that allows dogs, with a large area for them to roam around. The indoor pool and spa were also nice amenities, although I didn't have a chance to try them.

I loved spending time on the premises near the BBQ area which added to the overall welcoming vibe. The room was equipped with all necessary amenities such as ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer, and flat-screen TV. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special shoutouts to Samantha and Lisa who went above and beyond to answer all my questions and tell me a bit about the area.

As young people, we loved the modern and clean room with a comfortable bed. The amenities like the mini fridge, microwave, and in-room coffee were a great bonus. The big TV was perfect for our entertainment needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and varied breakfast options available, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles. The location was convenient, close to the highway but we didn't notice much traffic noise. Trinidad, a beautiful little town, was just a few miles north and offered a nice dining option and a chance to enjoy the ocean view.

As foreign tourists, we really enjoyed the exceptional shower pressure and comfortable bed. The breakfast spread was amazing with a variety of options like biscuits & gravy, waffles with chocolate and caramel, cooked eggs, ham, bagels, hot oats with berries and nuts. The customer service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and during breakfast. The hotel had a clean and tidy atmosphere, making it feel like a brand-new place. The indoor and outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were also enjoyable amenities. The location was conveniently situated off the highway near Humboldt State and the redwoods.
