My husband and I stayed at Best Western Plus for a concert at the Kirby Center. We have been coming here for years and always enjoy the great location and clean rooms. The staff is amazing, from the friendly front desk clerk to the attentive room cleaning staff. The highlight of our stay was the abundant and well-prepared breakfast. The hot water was fast and plentiful, and the on-site restaurant and bar were a bonus. The elevators were quick and always available.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

the room was extremely comfortable with two large queen beds, lots of pillows, and even an oversized lounge chair and chase that came in handy when one of us got tired of sharing a bed. They even surprised our kids with a rubber duckie for bath time! It totally made our kids' night! the staff was accommodating, even helping us carry our luggage up to our 5th story room, and I was especially impressed that there was a small collection of classic novels in the room. It is always nice to have something to do other than watch TV. Breakfast may have been the best we've ever experienced at a hotel. It was hot and fresh, and the staff was very attentive to both the guests and the food bar. the attendant saw that our daughter was uncomfortable, so he told her jokes and offered to make her anything she wanted so she could enjoy breakfast in bed. For a shy little girl, those were very appreciated gestures! Best Western exceeded our expectations and provided us with a truly fantastic experience.

This hotel is perfect for what I need - close to my son's college, Wilkes University, and very convenient. The staff are accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice extras like a heat lamp in the shower. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price of the room. The hotel's location overlooking Susquajhanna River and the large pretty park is a bonus.

All was okay; there's nothing that stands out to make me rave about this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my business trip. It was within walking distance of the Kirby Center, making it convenient for me to attend events there without worrying about parking. There were also multiple dining options nearby, including pizza shops, cafes, and a restaurant in the hotel itself. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the free breakfast offered was excellent.

the hotel was fantastic! from the spacious and clean rooms to the friendly and attentive staff, everything exceeded our expectations. they even remembered us from a previous stay in wilkes-barre. the grab-and-go breakfast and well-appointed rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff, including Michael, Jake, Jennifer, and Simone, were all friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we slept better than we had in days. The breakfast had a wonderful variety of choices, and the staff quickly replenished items. We also appreciated the hotel's pet-friendly policy and the treats and bags provided for our furry friend. Additionally, we enjoyed the area near the hotel, as we could easily walk along the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great location for my visit to a nearby theater. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the young man at breakfast went above and beyond. The room was clean and comfortable, with two large queen beds and a nice TV. The hotel had a quirky charm with eclectic furniture in the dining room, and breakfast was exceptional with a white piano providing a unique atmosphere.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and there were no major issues.

The hotel's attention to detail and service were exceptional. The newly remodeled rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a small sink outside the bathroom. The breakfast included in the room rate was a great addition, offering a good hot selection and many choices. The hotel's location, within walking distance to many great restaurants and 3 events we were attending, was incredibly convenient.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed, working A/C, and a big screen TV. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was a real treat, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

The hotel could use a bit of a facelift, as it looked a bit old and tired. Also, the pillows provided were extremely uncomfortable, with lumpy foam rubber stuffing that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Jaw-dropping welcome message, cute rubber ducky, free parking, outstanding restaurant with ample food, well-trained and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
