I recently stayed at a hotel on the west side of Artesia in the Pecos valley. After a long haul across the oilfields, the Best Western hotel was a real oasis. One thing I liked was the extra-large cart that allowed me to easily bring all my belongings to my room. The staff was polite and well-informed, and the modern room key was a nice touch. The hotel seems to have been extensively remodeled and has all the features modern travelers want. The location is convenient, and the town is quiet and pretty.

Would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast burnt and cold, wouldn't eat here again. Restaurant staff went above and beyond for our grandchildren, accommodating their requests.

The restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate our grandchildren's requests, offering sour cream for enchiladas that were too hot and even making oversized sundaes for them. The room was spacious and clean, with modern decor and well-maintained features. The indoor pool and hot tub were a great bonus. The breakfast, although a bit of a wait, was excellent and served by a friendly waitress who kept refilling our coffee. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and amenities.

The room at this hotel was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a microwave and refrigerator. the bathroom had a heater that quickly warmed up the space, which was a nice touch. the indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic and the best we've seen at this price point.

Our experience at this hotel was not the best. the mattresses were a bit dated and could have been more comfortable.

We had a great stay at a hotel with a cozy cafe that prepared a delicious breakfast off a menu made per order. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our family of three. The bathroom had an extra sink in the wet bar area, providing convenience. The friendly staff allowed us to check-in early and gave us useful information about the area. We were also pleased with the hot water in the shower.

The on-site restaurant had a long wait time and disappointing food quality.
