The BEST WESTERN Plus Station House Inn offers a perfect basecamp for any occasion. I stayed here for transit during my travel, and the convenience of this hotel made my stay pleasant. The complimentary wireless internet access and free self-parking onsite were highly convenient, allowing me to stay connected and have easy access to my vehicle.

While the hotel offers a free continental breakfast, I found that the dining options were limited, and it would have been great to have more diverse meal choices available.

We loved the peaceful location of this hotel - just far enough away from the busy attractions to be relaxing but still within easy reach of everything we wanted to see. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, with great room service and wake up service. We were greeted with a lovely welcome drink and enjoyed happy hour in the bar. Our room was well-stocked with ironing facilities, heating and air conditioning, and tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as a comfortable sitting area and garden furniture. The bathroom had a hair dryer, bathtub, sink, and free toiletries. We also appreciated the flat-screen TV and the am/fm alarm clock. After informing reception of a small leak under the sink, the staff immediately addressed the issue and fixed it.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

For the price, this hotel was an excellent value. The location was in a quiet area with a mountain view, and even though the rooms had only one comfortable chair, they were clean and included basic amenities. The service by staff was outstanding, with great attention to detail. The breakfast for vegetarians was included and served daily.

This hotel has a superb location with easy access to a nearby shopping outlet that offers fantastic discounts on designer brands. Guests can also enjoy the stunning beach, even in a snowstorm, as it's conveniently located close to the South Lake Tahoe center, yet outside of the busy roads. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the waitstaff at breakfast are attentive and accommodating. Plus, the pool and spa are open 24hrs, providing guests with plenty of flexibility to relax and unwind.

The staff did not inform guests of a hot water issue in one building, leading to an unpleasant surprise for some.

Our Xmas stay was very pleasant. the staff was friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby and the festive decorations throughout the hotel. the location was great, just a short walk to restaurants and shops.

The breakfast was basic and could use some improvement. the selection was limited and the wait time for a table was a bit long.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I loved the interior design and the proximity to attractions. The breakfast was delicious. However, the hairdryer in the bathroom needed a button to be pressed at all times, which made it hard to style my hair properly. Nevertheless, overall I’ll recommend this hotel.

As foreign tourists, we loved the delicious cooked-to-order breakfast at the sit-down restaurant. The waiters were friendly and the service was excellent. The clean and comfortable rooms were a great value, and the location was perfect for exploring Harvey's Amphitheatre and the community beach. We also enjoyed the 24-hour pool and spa facilities.
