I recently stayed at a cozy lodge while traveling along the US 23 Historic Route. The couple running the place were kind and welcoming. My room had a well-equipped kitchenette, which was great for preparing meals. I enjoyed the outdoor space with a garden and playground for some relaxation. I appreciated the clean atmosphere, and it felt like a home away from home for this New Yorker. I will return next time I’m in the area.
