Spacious cabins with a nice pool and plenty of hiking options nearby. Helpful staff provided useful information about local restaurants and directions for hikes. No Wi-Fi, but a plus for some. The fan in the cabin was appreciated during a heatwave.

I had a wonderful stay at this lodge nestled among breathtaking redwood trees and the Big Sur River. The staff were truly amazing, making me feel welcome and providing exceptional service. The location was perfect, offering easy access to beautiful hikes and local attractions. The spacious rooms, housed in cozy cabins, were clean and well-maintained. Plus, the provided information about nearby restaurants and hiking trails was incredibly helpful.

We found great value and a convenient location at this lodge. It was the perfect home base for exploring the beautiful Big Sur area. The lodge is just a short distance from popular attractions and easily accessible from Highway 1. My stay at the Lodge was truly memorable. The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the beauty of a national park. The cabin I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace that made my evenings extra special. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist me with any questions or concerns. I also loved the fact that there were trailheads near the Lodge, allowing me to explore the stunning nature right on my doorstep. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

While the cabin had its rustic charm, I did notice a few minor issues like paint chips and some unfinished areas. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was only available in the guest reception area, which was a bit inconvenient.

As those taking off early, we loved the excellent location in the middle of a forest/state park. The spacious and well-laid out rooms were perfect for our family. The on-site restaurant served delicious food and drinks. The reception area with a fireplace was a cozy spot to relax with food and wine. The games in the rooms provided great family bonding time.

Great Location and Beautiful Surroundings:

The location of this lodge was absolutely stunning! Nestled in the heart of Big Sur, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and had easy access to incredible hiking trails. It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly relax in nature's embrace.

Thin Walls and Lack of Privacy: One downside of the cabins was that the walls were quite thin, which meant that noise from neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard.

Our stay at Big Sur Lodge was fantastic! We got great value for our money with a complimentary room upgrade to a cozy one-bedroom cottage. The location under the redwood trees was amazing, and the staff treated us excellently, especially the gentleman who took care of us during dinner. We had a truly great time and would definitely recommend going back.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety and options.
