The food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

During our Christmas stay, we were impressed by the warm and friendly welcome we received from the hosts. the breakfast served each morning was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, situated between Rapid City and Hill City, providing easy access to the main attractions of the Black Hills.

One aspect we found disappointing was the lack of comfortable seating in our room. the couch was old and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the space.

The accommodations at Black Forest Inn were lovely, with a beautiful outdoor patio for dining and a cozy, homey atmosphere. The breakfast served was incredible, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. it was a must-stay if visiting the area. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the bathroom being small and the sink placement in one of the rooms, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the extra snack bar with goodies that was available throughout our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, with just the right portion sizes, and the variety was welcomed. The staff was amazing, bending over backwards to ensure our stay was wonderful. They provided maps and great suggestions for our daily activities, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities. We also appreciated the 24-hour self-serve coffee and tea bar.

The bathroom in our room was quite small and lacked adequate shelving for toiletries.

Our new year getaway couldn't have been better! the hosts treated us like family, offering complimentary tea and coffee anytime we needed it. the lounge area had a cozy fireplace, making it an ideal spot to enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. the location provided easy access to all nearby attractions, including hiking trails and local restaurants. the room had everything necessary, including cozy bedding and a TV for a relaxing night in.

Having to leave and return to reality! We can't wait to come back and enjoy the same excellent service and amenities.
