Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The room at The Lodge was spacious and modern, with a large and comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the outstanding full day shuttle service offered by the hotel. It saved me the hassle of renting a car and allowed me to easily explore areas within a 5-mile radius, including Duke University, ninth St, downtown, and shopping areas. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful when I needed toothpaste. I had a great experience at The Lodge and would recommend it.

Had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! the staff went above and beyond during the ice/snow storm, ensuring that we had hot food and extending the grille's hours. the shuttle drivers were also very helpful and made sure we stayed safe during the inclement weather. the location was perfect, just a short distance from the hospital. We also enjoyed the cozy and well-appointed rooms.

One downside was that the television volume was regulated and it was difficult to hear over the AC. Additionally, there was a miscommunication regarding room service, which resulted in no maid service on the second day. It would have been helpful if the front desk could have provided some assistance with these issues.
