the check-in process was frustratingly vague, almost comical. rooms are uncomfortably tiny, so what’s the point of stylish design? i also experienced a nightmarish lack of privacy when sharing a bathroom. honestly, after all that, a complimentary drink or upgrade would’ve been nice, but it seems that’s only for the more ‘important’ guests. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

the patio at citizenm is a fantastic spot to relax, no matter the weather. it’s just a short walk to the center of the city, which makes getting around easy! i loved the breakfast setup on the 4th floor where everything was accessible, including a microwave. the art pieces around the hotel are definitely a highlight, adding a fun vibe to the stay.
