The room updates were impressive, with cute and characterful decor. The proximity to good food and shopping was convenient. The quality of the pillows was excellent. Buying aquarium tickets at the motel saved time and allowed immediate entry. The location was ideal for easy access to Highway 1, Fisherman's Wharf, and the southern end of the 17 Mile Drive. The pool was a great addition to the amenities.

I recently stayed at the Stargazer Inn for one night in Monterey. The handicapped accessible room was clean and had easy shower access and a comfortable chair. I appreciated the small fridge and the moderately comfortable bed. The two handicapped parking spots meant there was always parking available, and the location was quieter than other motels on the larger streets. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool was a great amenity, especially during the colder months. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this motel.

I had a fantastic stay at Stargazer Inn And Suites. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. Plus, the location was ideal, with everything I wanted to see just a short drive away.

The only downside was that there was a slight issue with cleanliness in the bathroom. Some water and dirt would come up into the bath, which was a bit weird, but thankfully it wasn't blocked.

The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to, with a decent speed of 7 Mbps, suitable for video streaming. The location was convenient, with a short walk or affordable Uber ride to Fisherman's Wharf.
