We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The parking was convenient, and the location was perfect for guests to gather for a cocktail hour in the back garden courtyard. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the great location. It was conveniently located close to the waterfront and next to the hospital, which was handy. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were well-equipped with basic amenities and I loved the attention to detail, such as the beautiful inlaid coffee table in my room. a delightful experience!

The service provided by the staff is commendable, as they go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I had the most amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They even provided a seat in the bathroom so I could shower easily, and suggested parking on the side with a ramp. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the views from my room were breathtaking. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed sitting in the stunning garden courtyard. The hotel's unique charm really stood out, with furniture that matched the time period and historic photos covering the walls. The dinner experience was beyond my expectations, with a menu that included options like beets and brussel sprouts. And to top it off, there was even some fantastic live music by Sylvia Heins. I can't wait to come back!

Our stay at the castle was truly magical. The history and charm of the building added an extra level of intrigue to our visit. The library in the lobby was beautifully adorned and the food at "The Rook" was absolutely delicious. The view from our room of the water was simply breathtaking. Despite the small size of the room, it was clean and the bathroom was well-maintained.

The meal and cocktails were outstanding, especially the Thai lamb dish and Pad Thai. The castle atmosphere was fun and the room was clean with a mini fridge and great water pressure in the shower. The high ceilings, bright bathroom, and comfy bed made for a lovely stay. The WiFi was great and there were plenty of outlets. The hotel's restaurants and lounge were a nice addition. a unique and affordable stay.

The check-in experience was rude and unprofessional. the building was in need of maintenance repairs and deep cleaning, with visible mold in the shower.

I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, both inside and out. The facilities were top-notch, including a jacuzzi tub in our room and a beautiful garden courtyard. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to many excellent places to eat and the waterfront, making it easy to explore this city. The staff were attentive and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable.

Aspect: It was all superb.

We loved the look and vibe of the hotel, especially the restaurant. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was even a band playing in the ballroom, which added to the fun atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel is well-maintained and has a beautiful old building with lots of history.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the electrical system in the building was a bit outdated, resulting in a shortage of electrical outlets and a plugin strip that wasn't long enough for reading lights on both sides of the bed.
