We had a great one night stay in a trendy/hipster hotel during our honeymoon. the room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. the staff went above and beyond, decorating our room and leaving a thoughtful card and gift card to a local brewery. the hotel had a library of movies and a connected coffee shop, making it convenient for guests.

One of the rooms we stayed in was excessively hot, even with the window open. the constant slamming of doors starting early in the morning was quite bothersome.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a fridge in the room and the need to cool the room with ice blocks and a fan, overall I had a great experience. The accommodating staff went above and beyond to assist me with my needs, including providing a fridge for my medication. The cafe downstairs was also a delight, offering high-quality food and drinks. If you're looking for a clean, modern, and conveniently located hotel in Astoria, I would highly recommend Selina Commodore. I had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to book again.
