Great 24-hour reception and food from the bar was tasty, but parking was a hassle.

Such a convenient spot for hospital visits! The room was cozy and spotless, making it a comfy escape during a stressful time. Plus, you can literally walk out of the hospital and boom, you’re there!

But dear me, the toilet paper was an absolute shocker. I mean, I thought I was in a budget motel rather than a Marriott!

The Courtyard By Marriott Birmingham Downtown At UAB was an ideal choice during my husband's hospital stay. We found the location extremely convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, especially Geneva and Chantel. However, the bathroom could use some updates, and the noise from the emergency vehicles outside made it difficult to sleep. Great for families visiting UAB.

The staff were incredibly understanding during a stressful time, making sure we got enough rest while my loved one was in the hospital. Also, I appreciated that Torie at the front desk took the time to learn our names and circumstances, which really made us feel like we were being cared for, not just another room number.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but in the end the service made it acceptable.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, allowing me to rest peacefully as my husband recuperated after surgery at UAB. Its proximity to the hospital made our stay more manageable during a stressful time.

However, housekeeping could improve, as my room had some cleanliness issues, such as dirty grout and noticeable dust. Still, it's a great option for hospital visits thanks to its proximity and caring service.

Despite the convenient location, parking was a nightmare. I paid nearly $30 just to find a spot. The pillows were utterly disappointing, flat and uncomfortable which kept me tossing and turning all night. The mattress lacked support, transferring every movement, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I wish they would consider upgrading the bedding for overall comfort.

The courteous service I experienced at the front desk made my stay feel special, and the clean, cozy room was just what I needed during a tough time. I also enjoyed relaxing in the lobby with a quick bite from the bistro while catching up on my favorite shows in the leisure room. However, the parking situation could use some improvement, as it was a bit of a hassle. If you need a place near the hospital, this is a solid choice! 😊
