The hotel's public onsen facilities were relaxing and there was even a cedar bathtub in the room. It was located in a peaceful neighborhood, close to tourist sites.

We loved our stay at this riverside ryokan in Arashiyama. The location was perfect for us as bike riders, with easy access to the beautiful Tenryuji temple, Tongetsu-kyo bridge, Bamboo forest, and Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama. The staff were friendly and responsive, and the onsen facilities were top-notch, with both indoor and outdoor baths. The room was spacious and clean, and we especially enjoyed the sunroom where we could relax and enjoy the view of the small Japanese garden. The kaiseki dinner served in our room was a culinary masterpiece, made with seasonal produce. Sleeping on the tatami mat and snuggling under the warm, fluffy duvet was pure bliss. the experience of staying at this ryokan exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
