Just a good pick for a short stayover in Fernandina Beach with good value. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful.

Checking in was a hassle; our rooms weren’t ready and we had to ask multiple times just to get basic toiletries. To top it off, the AC in one room broke overnight, making for a miserable night’s sleep.

Room had a strong urine smell, which was concerning. Close to the beach and bike rentals made it worthwhile.

I loved how close this place was to the beach, just a two-minute walk away, and there are so many attractions nearby like the Maritime Museum and Amelia Island Lighthouse, both about a 15-minute stroll, making it easy to explore the area on foot; the hotel had nice features like a heated pool and clean rooms, but could definitely improve on keeping the common areas in better shape and ensuring better customer service.

Wonderful stay with amazing amenities and staff!

The room was spacious, but the air conditioner struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. The beds were clean but not very plush, leading to mixed comfort levels. I appreciated the option of a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. the noise from the air conditioner and bathroom fixtures disrupted sleep. Despite the room's amenities, it lacked thorough cleaning during our stay. The breakfast setup was underwhelming and crowded, with limited options. It would have been more pleasant if management had addressed the cleanliness and maintenance issues promptly.

This hotel was simply amazing! the staff was very friendly and took care of our issues promptly. the housekeeping was great and kept our room clean and tidy. the breakfast in the mornings was fantastic with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. the pool area was well-maintained and inviting, perfect for relaxing. the location was nice and clean, close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

One thing that could be improved is the poolside snack bar, as it lacked a variety of options. some guests were loud near the pool, which could be disruptive for those looking to relax.

The charming retro vibe and proximity to Sliders restaurant made my stay at Ocean Coast Hotel enjoyable despite noisy neighbors and hidden charges. Missed breakfast, but the kind staff accommodated. Light sleeper? Beware of external noise and mattress comfort. a decent option with room for improvement.

Loved the location and amenities included in the stay like bicycles, beach chairs, and board games. The outdoor pool area with hammocks and loungers was a highlight, and the bar right by the pool gave a resort-like feel. The property's layout and affordability were fantastic, with everything needed within walking distance, including a great pizza place nearby.

Some guests were loud by the stairs in the early morning hours, impacting sleep quality. The cleanliness in some rooms left much to be desired, with issues like mold spots on the ceiling and a leaking refrigerator.
