During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the modern townhouse set-up with a private garage, a cozy living room and kitchen area, and a quiet bedroom, ensuring a peaceful stay without noise disruptions. Additionally, the proximity to major casinos within walking distance was convenient for entertainment options in the area.

The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, as there were reports of hair on the bedding and clogged showers, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Additionally, the food at the on-site restaurant needed improvement, with overcooked sausage and bacon and coffee with grounds floating in it, affecting the dining experience negatively.

Traveled from Australia to ski in Tahoe with my wife. Desolation was sublime! Room aesthetics, Maggie’s restaurant, and chill pool/spa with fire pits impressed us. Staff like Ellen were friendly, gave great local tips. Easy access to casinos and the lake added to our stay. Can't wait to return!

We had breakfast before leaving for home, and the sausage and bacon were overcooked. Unfortunately, we also found floating grounds in the coffee, which was unpleasant and unappetizing.
