I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at a beautiful family-run hotel by the peaceful harbor side. The friendly welcome I received, even though I arrived early, set the tone for the rest of my trip. After enjoying a delicious lunch at the nearby Dockside restaurant, I explored the stunning grounds until it was time to check in. The staff showed me to my room, room 107, which had a kitchenette, bathroom, and a spacious lounge and bedroom. Although the room was a bit dated, the comfortable bed, lovely sheets, and towels made up for it. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, overlooking the river and sea, as well as the harbor and the main house and grounds. I even had the pleasure of witnessing two weddings during my stay, which added to the charm of the place. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were relaxed and plentiful with a great variety of choices. Any issues with the room were promptly addressed, such as lightbulbs needing to be changed. I had a wonderful and restful time at Dockside Guest Quarters and would highly recommend it for a peaceful holiday retreat.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the ocean and harbor. We loved relaxing and watching the life of the ocean. The location was very close to Cape Neddick Lighthouse, which was the best lighthouse we saw during our trip. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from.

We had an unfortunate delay with our flight, causing us to miss our connection and lose a couple days of our vacation. The manager at Dockside Guest Quarters showed no willingness to accommodate us with any kind of refund. This is just bad greedy business.

Loved the charming seaside colors of the units and the mesmerizing views of the river and bay. the breakfasts were a cut above with homemade breads and delicious egg dishes. Also enjoyed the restaurant next door and the amazing rum punch.

The actual living quarters were in a motel-type cabin room, which looked quite outdated and worn. the furniture was old and saggy, and the room was small.

The location of this hotel is truly stunning. Situated right on the bay, the views are absolutely gorgeous. Being able to enjoy breakfast on the front porch overlooking the water is a wonderful way to start the day. The hotel also has its own restaurant, offering a great meal with a view just a short walk away.

This hotel has so many wonderful features that made our stay memorable. the location was perfect - away from the beach and not crowded, but close enough to enjoy a beautiful walking trail along the ocean. The views of York Harbor from our second floor room with a shared veranda were breathtaking. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The staff ensured that everything was clean and tidy, from the linens to the window sills. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight. The buffet offered a variety of options, with a different main course every day, and we could enjoy our meal with a nice view. we were very happy with our experience at this hotel.

We were lucky to spot a Great Blue Heron and even a seal in the harbor, adding to the natural beauty of the area. Even though there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a table in the room and some maintenance issues, these did not overshadow the overall amazing experience we had. We would definitely recommend Dockside Guest Quarters to anyone seeking an authentic Maine getaway. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic weekend by the sea! the inn is super cozy and perfect for a relaxing break. Loved the complimentary bikes and beach chairs, as well as the amazing breakfast every morning. the views are stunning and there's plenty to do nearby, like local shops and tourist attractions.

The noise from the wall unit A/C in the room, which was a bit bothersome at night. the bed was a little too soft for my liking, but that's totally subjective.
