We stayed at the Downtown Inn for 3 nights during our visit to Eugene. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for places to eat in the area. They even gave us a discount when it was available. The location of the hotel is perfect, right downtown and next to a gas station and store. We felt safe in the area, which was a huge plus. Our room was clean and ready for us when we arrived in the evening. The individual heating/AC unit in the room was a nice touch, doubling as a white noise machine. we had a quiet and comfortable stay at the Downtown Inn.

We had a great time at this place! Henry, the owner, was super accommodating and made us feel right at home. The hotel is beautifully renovated with clean and comfortable rooms. We even got a room away from the renovation work to avoid any noise. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to town and there are plenty of eateries nearby, including some fast food joints and healthier options.

The stable Wifi was a bonus, as I had experienced issues in other places. The bath/shower may not look like much, but it was surprisingly enjoyable.
