The pool area was nice, but our room had a musty smell. Kids loved the water park and game room.

The room featured a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and a small kitchen area with necessary cleaning supplies. The bed was adequately comfortable with decent temperature control. the shower tub was plugged upon arrival, and the bathroom door lock was malfunctioning. The cleanliness was lacking; dirty floors and inadequate housekeeping during the stay were notable. The balcony offered a lovely view of the beach and ocean, but the furniture was outdated. Noise levels were moderate, enough for a restful sleep. Access for strollers and wheelchair users was insufficient, particularly concerning the beach pathway.

The indoor water park was an absolute blast! We had late-night swims and enjoyed every splash. The beach access made it easy to switch between pool vibes and ocean fun!

Stunning beachfront access with tons of attractions nearby

We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean every day, with immediate beach access right outside our door and just a short stroll to attractions like Broadway at the Beach, which is nearly 4 km away, and the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, about 5 km down the boardwalk; the hotel was equipped with large suites and a kitchenette, perfect for our family of 6, though the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities could be improved.

The water slides thrill the kids like no other. The lazy river and pools provide endless entertainment, and the Halloween trick-or-treating had us smiling.

That cockroach family and the lingering odors made me question the cleanliness.

Dunes Village is perfect for families, featuring engaging activities like waterparks, a playground, and convenient access to the beach. The check-in process was smooth, allowing us to enjoy the facilities while waiting for our room.

The oceanfront room offered a stunning view. The kitchenette proved invaluable for family needs. A/C functioned flawlessly, and the shower maintained a strong, hot flow. The water parks and pools kept my boys entertained, and the beach was just a short walk away. cleanliness left much to be desired. The room felt neglected; Daily housekeeping is nonexistent, which is disappointing for a resort pricing. While some staff were friendly, they couldn't compensate for the overall lack of care. A few upgrades would transform this place, making it a worthy family destination rather than a last resort.

Our second day was a nightmare when a huge guy and a dog banged on our door for what felt like forever. It was terrifying—it scared my kids so much. Totally ruined our vacation vibe. Unacceptable!

Stained sheets, a dirty comforter, and a filthy tub made for a disappointing experience. Plus, it was set up for a wheelchair, making the bathroom awkward to use. Staff were friendly, but service was slow, and finding information about amenities was frustrating. The beautiful location can't overshadow the cleanliness and communication issues.

We absolutely loved the proximity to the beach and the water park – they were definitely the highlights of our trip. The spacious rooms and beautiful views were also a big plus. there were some aspects that didn't quite meet our expectations. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, with dustiness and bedding that looked like it hadn't been professionally made. It would have been nice if they paid more attention to detail during cleaning, especially mopping the floors. Another letdown was the pool area requiring the room key for access. While I understand it's for safety, it was a bit annoying to have to juggle everything while looking for the key. The closure of the waterpark in our building was also disappointing, and the lack of communication about it in advance was frustrating.
