The breakfast options were exceptional, offering a huge variety that could fill even a Wookiee. The indoor pool was a nice touch, allowing for a splash year-round, and the spacious common areas made it easy to kick back and socialize after a long day.

However, there were quite a few cleanliness issues here, with reports of dirty carpets and unclean bathrooms that put a damper on the experience. Some rooms were described as old and outdated, needing a solid overhaul, with guests noting that maintenance was lacking and issues like lingering odors and low water pressure really put a wrench in comfort. The elevator situation was another hassle. slow service left guests frustrated, especially on busy weekends. To add to the mix, parking fees felt unjustified given the overall experience, and the noise from neighboring rooms was a real downside for those trying to catch some sleep. Inconsistent housekeeping and a lack of response to complaints didn't help either, which could leave anyone feeling at odds with their stay.

The croissants at breakfast were a flaky dream, melting in my mouth! They also had a delightful range of fresh fruit, and the complimentary breakfast had a decent layout. Plus, the indoor pool was a hit with my kids, offering a fun splash zone to unwind after exploring Baton Rouge.

Entering the room, there was a strange odor, perhaps from the worn carpet. The bathroom was a letdown—three empty dispenser containers and a tray with no supplies in sight. To top it off, we had no linens for the pullout couch, and I had to trek back to the front desk for help. It felt like an uphill battle, but we made the best of it!

Breakfast was a feast with a huge variety, from made-to-order omelets to sweet pastries. And can we talk about the spacious common areas that are perfect for lounging after indulging in all that goodness?

Service was non-existent at times! I asked for an extra blanket and was told they were full, leaving my daughter shivering on the sofa bed without one.

Had an amazing trip with friends! We loved the happy hour and enjoyed a great evening. The foodservice was top-notch, and the surrounding restaurants were convenient. Don’t miss the breakfast. it was a feast! Perfect location for checking out local events like family reunions. The atmosphere was super welcoming, making it a fantastic place to stay.

The beds were uncomfortable, which made it hard for some of us to sleep well. We attempted to enjoy our stay despite this hiccup, but it's something future guests should keep in mind.

Overall, this hotel has a welcoming atmosphere but could benefit from some renovations.
