We had a rough time with our room. It was dirty, with spider webs everywhere, and the bathroom wasn't any better. There were hairs left in the tub and a weird scum on the soap bottles. Definitely disappointing!

Comfortable room. Clean space. A couple of issues: found two strands of pubic hair on the shower walls and noticed insects by the window. the breakfast was outstanding. A full course meal—eggs, bacon, fresh fruit. Much more than I expected. Rooms had a cozy design, with a big TV and a lovely fireplace. Staff was not only pleasant but efficient. I experienced a minor issue with the fridge that was resolved immediately. A touch more coffee variety would be appreciated. The indoor pool was nice, yet too cold for a proper swim. Maybe consider a hot tub for winter months? Lastly, the shower height was awkward. I prefer a bathtub. Still, I’d stay again.

Had an awesome New Year's stay at this hotel! Loved the warm cookies at 4 pm every day, and the clean, spacious room with all amenities working perfectly. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the ample parking was a plus. Perfect location for easy access to the best roads in the area.

The pool water temperature was a bit cold despite being a heated pool, which was a downside for longer swims. the window curtain couldn't be opened, and the pillows were not the most comfortable, but that's subjective!

The breakfast buffet was a feast fit for a king! The hotel offers great facilities and services.

The hotel's location near a park raised safety concerns and the laundry facilities were out of order. However, the spacious room was nice, service staff were friendly, and the free coffee was a thoughtful touch. The pool was unavailable due to maintenance, and check-in delays were observed during a busy period. Despite these issues, the exceptionally clean suite, amazing breakfast, and welcoming staff made for a comfortable stay, with one staff member even going the extra mile to take a family photo.

The flat-screen TV was a great addition for some evening entertainment, but the carpeted floors could use a refresh as they appeared a bit worn. Perhaps updating to a more modern flooring option like parquet would elevate the room aesthetics. the English Inn offers comfortable accommodations with some room for improvements in terms of AC noise, soundproofing, and flooring. The amenities provided were thoughtful, and with some adjustments, it could.
