Excellent service and delicious restaurant. My wife and I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming, beautiful brick estate hotel. We were greeted warmly by Cindy at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The highlight of our stay was the delicious dinner we had at the restaurant. The pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and the sweet potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts were delightful. The clam chowder was also outstanding with a smokey taste. Although there was a wedding going on, which made the atmosphere a bit loud, we still had a great time. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting Exeter.

During our stay, we found the hotel to be conveniently located right next to Phillips Exeter Academy, perfect for attending events there. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. The updated bathroom was a nice touch, although a bit dim for makeup application. Despite facing Front Street, the hotel was situated in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the restaurant served quick and delicious meals, and there was a lovely patio in the back, providing a great spot to relax and enjoy the summer weather.

One minor issue we encountered was the shower in our room, as the glass half door had a hole that caused water to flood the bathroom floor.

Our romantic escape was everything we hoped for and more. The cozy room with the tasteful decor was the perfect setting for our getaway. We loved the complementary bottle of wine and chocolates that were waiting for us upon arrival. The location was ideal for exploring all the charming shops and restaurants in the area. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast served in the quaint dining room.

The lack of parking. We had to park several blocks away from the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient.

This hotel is located in a charming historic neighborhood, with beautiful sites nearby and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the attention to detail, such as providing robes and slippers, made for a comfortable stay.
