During my transit in New York, I sought the convenience of Feather Factory Hotel, a mere 10-minute walk from Hunters Point Avenue and located 6 km from Penn. The hotel's accessibility to LaGuardia, just 10 km away, ensured a smooth transition for my travels.

The front desk area did not provide clear information about the complimentary breakfast, and the check-in process was prolonged. the bed, advertised as a queen, turned out to be a full size, and the mattress was thinner and less comfortable than expected.

I chose this hotel for its convenient location near MoMI, as I was attending a meeting there. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I appreciated the proximity to public transportation and the ease of getting around the city.

The only service I missed for my work was a 24/7 business center or workspace within the hotel premises, which would have been helpful for any urgent work needs during my stay.

We had a blast exploring Gantry Plaza State Park and taking in the stunning city views. Funtopia USA was a highlight with its round-the-clock amusement options, and we even caught a glimpse of a celebrity news event nearby! The hotel's location made it super easy for us to have fun and experience the best of the city.

We wished there was a livelier nightlife scene closer to the hotel for some late-night fun.

The amusement park had tons of exciting rides and attractions, but who needs that when you can visit a museum that celebrates the history of motion pictures? Oh, and don't forget the amazing view of the city from Top of The Rock Queens.

Because everyone loves a good sarcastic twist, I just adored hearing people walking, talking, and using the microwave from my oh-so-conveniently located room next to the lobby. So refreshing!

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed by the value and cleanliness of the hotel. the buffet breakfast was a standout, offering a wide selection of delicious options. Additionally, the modern room and comfortable bed provided the perfect oasis after a long day of sightseeing.

One downside was the limited breakfast setup time. As an early riser, I expected everything to be fully prepared by 7 am, but there was still some setup happening even after 7:30 am.

The hotel was conveniently located near the ferry and subway stations, making it easy to access the city. the on-site shop and tea/coffee station were a nice touch.

The lack of a microwave in the room and limited storage options were a downside. the construction in the area caused inconvenience and dirtied shoes and bags.

I stayed at the Feather Factory for a short visit to see my sister in LIC. The location was perfect, and the pricing was reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the street parking right in front of the hotel was a great deal. The rooms had convenient USB outlets and a good view, and the included breakfast was a nice addition. my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

the staff at Feather Factory went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a bigger bed for my daughter. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a great shower. I also appreciated the in-hotel store, which had a good selection of necessities, drinks, and grab-and-go food. the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, along with the fast wifi and delicious lobby scent, made it one of the best hotels I've experienced in Long Island City. I highly recommend Feather Factory for their exceptional hospitality and affordable price point.
