Travelled with spouse and two teens. The three bedroom suite was as spacious and attractive as it was pictured. The bathroom was a nice size with a tub and shower and a view of the tree tops. We went in May and used the gas fireplace, which was a treat. Our windows did have screens so we could sleep with them open. We all really liked the continental style breakfasts which were creative, healthy and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy walking and biking access to the area. Lots of good restaurants in the vicinity.

Almost perfect.

We had a fantastic time here! This place is situated in the centre with delightful local artwork all around, making it very convenient for us to explore the town. The service housekeeping was exceptional, and the staff was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Not to mention, the ski pass vendor made it easy for us to hit the slopes. We also loved the welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance that made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was comfortable, and the room amenities like heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and seating area with a patio made it even more appealing.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The accommodations at Field Guide Lodge were outstanding. Our suite was tastefully decorated and spacious, with plenty of windows offering a beautiful view of the wooded area behind the lodge. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs, providing gluten-free bread for breakfast. We loved spending time around the fire pit in the afternoon, enjoying a glass of wine. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to the main street in town and a scenic walking path along a canal or stream.

We had the most delightful stay at Field Guide Lodge. the staff were incredibly cheerful and helpful. Our suite was upgraded, providing us with a spacious living room, bathroom, and bedroom. the decor had a beautiful northern European feel, with comfortable simplicity and high-quality finishes. the bathrobes were luxurious and the sheets heavenly. We loved the innovative use of iPads for information and communication. the bathtub was deep and relaxing, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding.
