The location is fantastic, making it a great base for ski enthusiasts. They had homemade cookies available all day, which was a nice touch after spending time on the slopes.

However, the cleanliness wasn't up to par. there were hairs left in the bathroom and the shower grout harbored some mold. The breakfast offerings were rather limited, and on occasion, hot water availability seemed inconsistent, too. Additionally, the walls don't do a good job at muffling sound—could hear too much from neighboring rooms. Finally, the room felt cramped with barely any storage options. you'd think you're living in a cockpit with all the gadgetry squeezed in.

We had a fantastic time at Field Guide Lodge! The outdoor games were a hit with the whole family, giving us plenty of quality time together in the evenings. Plus, the cozy lobby with cookies and cider at check-in really set a welcoming vibe for our stay. Our Three-Bedroom Suite was spacious, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our time, particularly for family gatherings.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home, just lekker! The brekkie was a whole vibe with fresh options daily, and those croissants—eina, I can’t stop thinking about them! Plus, the cozy nooks in the lounge were perfect for just chilling and reflecting after a good day out.

i almost thought about leaving a good review, but when we arrived to a small room with a terrible odor, it was hard to think straight. the mattress was noisy—so romantic, right? i expected a complimentary upgrade, but nothing even close was on offer, deafening silence from the staff when we needed help. disappointing, really.

Our room was so spacious it could have hosted a yoga retreat—complete with a beautiful gas fireplace and an oversized soaker tub! Each morning, we were greeted with a delightful breakfast that showcased everything from delicious quiches to fresh squeezed juice, and I still can't get over those fluffy towels! Honestly, I felt more pampered than a cat lounging in a sunbeam. Just a small suggestion, an extra mirror outside the bathroom would help avoid the morning dance of who gets ready first! All in all, this lodge is a cozy charmer in the heart of Stowe.

Ope, the outdoor hot tub was just the ticket after a day of exploring Stowe! The staff were super friendly, and the cozy lobby made for a great spot to unwind with some cider and cookies. Breakfast was a nice surprise, too, even if it wasn’t a full spread—whatever they had, we gobbled it up. Can't wait to come back!

The king room was tiny, barely fitting our luggage with no closet space, just a makeshift bar with hangers. It felt misleading based on the website's photos, which promised a more spacious layout. Though the staff were friendly at check-in, I was disappointed to find no solutions for the room size and was met with vague explanations about their marketing approach. Additionally, while breakfast provided varied options, it still lacked standout flavor, which could enhance the morning experience.

Cozy lodge, convenient location, the breakfast was simple but delicious, and the room featured a flat-screen TV and a fridge for added comfort during our stay.
