great smokies inn - cherokee is a lovely motel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a nice pool. we enjoyed our peaceful break and the convenient location near local restaurants. coffee available 24/7 was a bonus!

Beds in room 121 were uncomfortably hard.

I recently stayed at Great Smokies Inn for a few nights and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was great because I was traveling with my dog. It's conveniently located near the southern entry points for the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokey Mountains, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. There is also a gas station right across the street and plenty of nearby restaurants for convenience. The room itself was spacious and clean, and there was a large area nearby for walking my dog. The shower in the room was exceptionally clean, with a large shower head and strong water pressure for an amazing shower experience. I also appreciated the power outlet "cube" on the bedside table, providing multiple accessible plugins. Lastly, the night host was extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home and even providing us with a map of nearby places to visit.

The room was clean and comfortable, just as nice as some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed in. the beds were especially comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. the location of the hotel was excellent, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the entrance to the national park just around the corner. Additionally, the hotel offered a shuttle service to the casino, making it convenient for guests.

The hotel seemed to be understaffed in terms of housekeeping, as early check-in was difficult to get. Additionally, there was no breakfast available during my stay, although I was informed that the hotel is looking into adding this amenity in the future.

Clean, comfortable. Welcoming staff, nicely decorated lobby. Rustic room with updated fixtures and bedding. Soundproofed, no noise from neighbors. Impressed with one night stay, will definitely return on next visit.

We loved the spacious room, clean bathroom, and soft towels. The table and armchairs were perfect for preparing meals or working on our laptops. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the staff provided extra blankets when it got chilly at night. We were thrilled to see elks roaming into the village at dusk, and the breathtaking scenery added to the charm. We enjoyed the Brew House and Grill across the bridge for meals and Mabel's Cafe opposite for reasonably priced eats and breakfast. There was also a convenient petrol station nearby.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. the location was perfect for us, with the casino and tubing just a short distance away. We loved the gorgeous pool and the convenience of having a gas station and Hardee's across the street. We highly recommend Great Smokies Inn and can't wait to return for another visit.

We stayed at a nice inn with great beds and a clean room. Although we didn't get the room we requested, the one we got was still nice. Unfortunately, it was facing the sun, which was a problem for me as someone with lupus. I had to keep the curtains closed to protect my skin. the inn didn't offer daily house cleaning, so we had to take care of laundry and trash ourselves. the staff was amazing, especially at the front desk. They were friendly and helpful, providing great suggestions for activities. a clean and comfortable place in a convenient location.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Cherokee for one night and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, with plenty of activities nearby. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the lobby was beautifully decorated. The room had a rustic charm and looked recently updated with new fixtures and bedding. It was also surprisingly soundproof, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a gas station. Additionally, the hotel had a nice and clean pool area, which was not crowded during my stay. I had a great experience and will definitely stay here again.

Everything is what I need and want.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet across the street. The staff, especially the front desk manager "Amy," were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the Great Smoky Mountains and other area attractions. We loved being able to easily explore the beautiful scenery and visit nearby shops and food places.

The room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. the location was perfect, with Mingo Falls just a short distance away. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Mexican restaurant and morning coffee at Mabel's Kitchen, both conveniently located across the street. the staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to keep our vehicle on their property while we explored Cherokee. the hotel had everything we needed, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. We even spotted some majestic elk from our balcony. a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay at Great Smokies Inn again if we're in the area.

The room had a microwave and fridge, and a charging cube for phones. It was clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, with updated fixtures and bedding. The lobby was nicely decorated, and the staff was welcoming. A laundry bag was provided. I will stay here again.
