We stayed at Hampton Inn for one night during our 5-week road trip and it easily stood out as the best hotel and best value. The location was nice, with a calming view of an open field. The fourth-floor room was pet-free and quiet. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The room had a homey feel with carpets and nice drapes, which made it comfortable. The hotel also had a great indoor pool, hot tub, and a well-equipped fitness center. The breakfast had a variety of options, including make-your-own waffles, and the coffee was great. I felt safe and happy as a single traveler.
