The safety latch on the door was also placed too high to easily reach from a chair, which could use some adjusting for better accessibility. On top of that, I noticed the breakfast options were just average, lacking any standout items that might make the start of the day special.

the remote was absolutely filthy, and who leaves cheerios next to the bed? disgusting! i had to request trash bags for my room since housekeeping was apparently on a permanent vacation. i expected at least a token upgrade or something for my troubles, but i guess that’s too much to ask for. just couldn’t, really.

Had an awesome time! The brekkie was a lekker treat, especially that chicken sausage. Also, the lady at reception was super friendly, made me feel right at home. The air quality in the room was really good too, helped me sleep well after a busy day!

But the parking situation was a bit dodgy. Had to park at a nearby McDonald's a couple of nights, which felt a little weird.

i had a great stay at hampton inn. the room with the spa bath was fantastic, and breakfast was really good. overall, my experience exceeded what i had during my last visit to columbus this summer.
