Staff helpful and friendly. Kitchen useful, bed comfortable, room clean. Close to slopes, shops, market. No complaints. Will return.

Our stay at the Heidelberg Inn was fantastic! The location was perfect, right in the center of the village. We could easily walk to all the great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself had everything we needed, from a laundry room to a game room. And the fish cleaning room was a unique bonus for those who love fishing. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, organizing ice cream parties and movie nights for the guests. The rooms were charming and had a kitchenette, which was a great convenience. And the kids loved spending time in the game room and sitting by the cozy fireplace. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the pool being closed and some noise from renovations in the morning, our overall experience at the Heidelberg Inn was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in eastern California near the lake. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities were top-notch. There was ample free parking available, which was a relief. The location was great, with stunning views of the mountains and easy access to the lake and surrounding area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing me with useful information about the area and offering excellent service throughout my stay.

The location was perfect, close to restaurants and near the lake. Our 2-bedroom upstairs unit had a fantastic view. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a great central location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. We loved the cozy and comfortable rooms, which were kept spotless by the staff. the bathroom was spacious with ample counter space, and the shower was fantastic.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to stay cool, especially during hot weather.

The rooms at this hotel are just fantastic! They are updated and clean, with a well-appointed kitchen that even includes wine glasses. The attention to detail is impressive, and the photos show beautiful balconies where you can enjoy the views. I also loved that the hotel has air conditioning, which is a big plus during hot summer days. And the location is perfect, right in the heart of the village and just a short walk down to the lake.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and I couldn't find anything to complain about.

I had a small adventure during check-in when there was nobody at the reception desk. Thankfully, some kind hotel guests helped us out and we managed to get into our room. The hotel hall was cozy and inviting. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed, from high-quality toiletries to dishwasher tablets. The alpine escape theme added a unique touch with a massive fireplace in the lobby and wooden beams. The location was beautiful and the staff were lovely. I really enjoyed my stay at Heidelberg Inn.

The room was affordable and nicely updated, with a clean and modern bathroom. the kitchen was well stocked and convenient for cooking. the vintage rustic/old Hollywood ambience in the common areas was fantastic. the staff was welcoming and helpful, providing passes to a nearby pool/spa for swimming. the king bed and fold-out sofa were both very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

There was a strange and musty smell throughout the hotel, possibly due to its age. the construction on the deck area meant that the jacuzzis were not available during my stay.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring the Sierra Mountains. It's surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and lakes that are just a short distance away. Nature lovers will feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable and practical, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice linens. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. The view from the hotel is also stunning, with a great view over the town and down to the lake. this hotel is ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway.

One minor issue we encountered was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which made it quite hot in July. However, opening the windows and using the provided fan helped to alleviate the heat.

We had a great stay at a historic building with a beautiful location. The spacious 1-bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The remodeled bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette were nice features. The lobby with its huge fireplace and comfy seating areas added to the charm of the inn. The staff was nice and accommodating, and the café across the road provided excellent breakfast options. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its charm, location, and comfortable accommodations.

We had an amazing stay at the Heidelberg Inn. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The highlight was definitely the fireplace where we enjoyed sipping on drinks and admiring the Californian bear. There were great restaurants and shops nearby. The view from the hot tub was breathtaking, even though we didn't brave the cold weather to get in. We woke up to stunning views of snow-covered mountains, rooftops, and cleared streets. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to return someday.
