We had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake from our room. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated, and the balcony added a wonderful touch to our experience. The staff, especially Joe at the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. We also appreciated the convenience of having a bar onsite. we highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Holiday Inn! The room was perfect for the two of us, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The pool area was clean and inviting, and we enjoyed the live music in the lounge during Happy Hour. The food, especially the burgers, was delicious and the portions were generous. The hotel was clean and the efforts taken to maintain it were evident. The location by the lake was breathtaking. it was a restful and fulfilling stay that exceeded our expectations.

The only other drawback was the high price of $570 for two nights.

The beach activities, lounge chairs, and picnic tables made for a super fun day in the sun. The breakfast menu was wonderful, and we enjoyed using the provided vouchers. The room itself was top-notch, with a comfortable bed, labeled pillows, and Dove toiletries that smelled great. The friendly staff, fantastic servers, and delicious food made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this location, especially for its jaw-dropping lake view!

Our year-end banquet brought us to Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes for a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating, offering our group a meeting room and even making change for the mini arcade. The beds were so comfortable that our whole family slept better than at home. The view from our room overlooking the lake was amazing, and the kids loved the pool and beach area. The food served at the banquet was delicious, and the bartender at the mini bar was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised when we were given adjoining rooms without even asking. Thank you so much!

The view from my room overlooking the lake was amazing - especially during moonrise. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, with nice furnishings. The hotel facilities were great, including a bar and grill with 2 for 1 beers during happy hour. I enjoyed some delicious appetizers there, like the walleye fingers and burger sliders. The breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was also good, with a variety of menu options at reasonable prices. The staff throughout my stay were very friendly and attentive, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The location right off the beach made it easy for me to enjoy the pool and beach area with my kids. I had a great experience here.

We booked the hotel because of the location near the lake, but it was a huge disappointment. There are no beaches nearby, just a small area of sand that leads to a dirty and murky water source. The room was cramped and dingy, with spider webs all over the balcony. The beds were uncomfortable, and the AC couldn't regulate the temperature. The breakfast was unappetizing, and the chlorine smell was overpowering in the pool. The only bright spot was the friendly housekeeping staff.

The cancellation policy is ridiculous.

I loved the beachfront rooms that offered plenty of space for families to spend time together. The highlight of my stay was the restaurant's great food, delicious room service, and enjoyable Happy Hour with live music. I would recommend Holiday Inn for a pleasant getaway.

This hotel is a great place to stay for family fun by the lake. The location of the hotel is right off the beach and has a Lakeside view which is absolutely stunning. The basic amenities provided are excellent, and the staff members are extremely friendly and provide great service. The breakfast is highly recommended with a variety of options on the menu.
