Good location and decent breakfast

Nice spot close to the airport, and the free shuttle was super handy. Breakfast was solid, which was a nice perk. The pool looked inviting, too. One hiccup was the staff could be kinda inattentive at times, which was frustrating, especially waiting for help and issues with the room keys.

The rooms at Holiday Inn Express Fort Lauderdale Airport South are very clean and comfortable. My kids loved the spacious suite, probably due to the exceptional housekeeping. The 42" HDTV with cable and HBO made our stay extra enjoyable, and the bed and pillows were large and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep before our flight.

The internet on the fifth floor didn’t work for most of our stay. I ended up doing work in the lobby until 4 o’clock Monday morning.

The breakfast was free and the coffee was really good. the hotel had a great location with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. the shuttle service was also convenient.

The hotel staff was rude and unprofessional, with the front desk clerk spending more time on personal calls than helping guests. the housekeeping staff also barged into my room without knocking and didn't seem to want to do their job.
