The hotel is conveniently located near a pancake maker, which is perfect for enjoying take-out food from nearby restaurants. The staff is helpful and provides advice on activities at Norris Lake. The rooms are clean and spacious with multiple TVs. Guests can enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and take advantage of the well-equipped exercise room. There is also an outdoor smoking area located above the hotel.

Some previous guests mentioned that the breakfast options mainly consisted of fried meat dishes.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right off the freeway and close to activities at Norris Lake. The room was huge, with a comfortable king-size bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The shower was also nice, providing a soothing experience. The free breakfast was a great perk, starting at 6AM and offering individually wrapped items that we could easily grab and take with us to work. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we had an emergency and needed directions to the hospital. They stayed calm and guided us there quickly. We couldn't be more grateful for their support.

We loved that the beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The breakfast bar starting at 6AM was a great convenience for our early work schedule. The individually wrapped items made it easy to grab and go. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel had a great indoor/outdoor pool that the kids loved. The breakfast had a little something for everyone, and we enjoyed the pancake machine. The hotel's recent renovation made everything look fresh and new. The rooms and lobby were spacious. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel was close to activities at Norris Lake and very close to the Museum of Appalachia, which was interesting.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. the newly remodeled room had a modern and comfortable atmosphere, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the comfortable bed, which provided a great night's sleep. the breakfast offered at the hotel was the best we had during our week-long trip. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express for its friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and delicious breakfast.

As foreign tourists, we loved the spacious breakfast area, the delicious cinnamon rolls, and the fresh scrambled eggs. The indoor/outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids, and we appreciated the variety of options at the breakfast bar. The staff was friendly and the bedding/pillows were comfortable. Didn't dislike anything about the property.

During our Christmas stay, we were so impressed with the special touches at this hotel. We loved the black washcloths labeled makeup - such a brilliant idea to keep the towels looking fresh. Another great feature was the J. Watkins toiletries provided in the room. the location was perfect, easily accessible from I-75, and there were several fast food restaurants and a Walmart nearby for convenience. we had a warm welcome, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast with a delicious addition of roasted potato chunks.

The only downside during our stay was the lack of brightness in the room. the lighting was typical for hotels and it would have been nice to have some overhead fixtures to make the room brighter.

As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we loved the convenient location of the hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and had friendly and helpful staff.

The price of the hotel has significantly increased in the past year, which was a downside. the bench seating in the breakfast area was dirty and stained, and could use a thorough cleaning.
