During our recent two-week vacation up the west coast, we stayed at various Marriott hotels but Holiday Inn Express in Newport was by far our favorite. The rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast options were fantastic, with a phenomenal spread that included a pancake machine that was quite fun to use. The hotel's small saltwater pool and hot tub were incredibly relaxing, and the board games available for borrowing provided a unique and personalized touch. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The hotel is situated in a light industrial area near the aquarium in a lovely location by the sea. There are several restaurants nearby, such as OFF THE HOOK, which offer delicious clam chowder, and a candy shop next door. The lobby and fitness room facilities are decent, and the shower in the bathroom is hot.

The hotel had some key issues and the pool was too cold, making it uncomfortable.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to Georgie's Oceanfront restaurant, a great place for dinner, and the nearby Aquarium. We also loved the convenience of the free breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options for our family of four. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good and the location was very convenient, just a short walk to the Oregon Aquarium. The room was comfortable with great AC. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a great location close to everything, including a local restaurant that we would have missed without the hotel's recommendation. It was super close to the Aquarium and the fishing pier, and there was a fantastic restaurant called OFF THE HOOK nearby, with delicious clam chowder and a candy shop next door. The breakfast options were outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
