The location of the hotel is great, close to shops and within a block easy walk to main activities in the area. The room was spacious and nicely appointed with a balcony that had a view of the river and convention center. The staff provided friendly and courteous service, and the breakfast selection and quality were good. The room was equipped with a Keurig coffee machine, fridge, and microwave, adding to the convenience of the stay.

There was one negative aspect that I experienced during my stay. The design of the bathroom was flawed, with the door swinging inside and very little room to move around.

As a budget traveler, I appreciated the comfortable bed, great cookies, and exceptional breakfast.

The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and close to great restaurants. The hotel has undergone a complete remodel and looks fantastic. The room had two king beds, which is rare, and we loved the turkey sausage breakfast option. The gas fire pits and balcony overlooking the river were a beautiful addition. The late-night convenience of breakfast items provided by the night auditor was incredibly kind and convenient. a great experience!

I recently stayed at a hotel in a beachy location for 5 days on a 1400-mile motorcycle trip. The Holiday Inn Express had a great location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach and close to some fantastic dining options like Times Theater & Pub house. The highlight was definitely the balcony with a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast to go was a nice touch, with a banana, granola bar, muffin, and coffee in a bag with handles. It was the perfect way to end our trip.
