The location of this hotel is amazing, with easy access to many of the popular LA attractions. We could easily hop in an Uber for a 5-10 dollar ride to wherever we wanted to go. The attention to detail in the rooms was excellent. They were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist us with any requests or questions we had. The basic amenities provided by the hotel were just what we needed. The pool was nice for a refreshing dip, and the breakfast offered a delicious start to our day.

While everything else was great, the wifi in our room started dropping out on the second day. It was a minor inconvenience, but once we left the room, the connection was stable again.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and I can't recommend it enough. the location is absolutely perfect, right across from The Grove. It's so convenient to walk to museums, restaurants, and shops. Secondly, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as a queen bed and windows facing west, were just what I needed for a comfortable stay. And lastly, I loved the fun and cool decor throughout the hotel, which added a unique touch to the overall experience. Also, the breakfast included was a nice bonus, with coffee in a thermos to start the day.

I decided to splurge and try something nice in LA for a few nights at Short Stories. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed. The room was not only beautiful, but also incredibly comfortable, with the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the abundance of books to the thoughtful provision of a black washcloth for makeup removal. The location was perfect, with no traffic noise and easy access to attractions like the Grove. The friendly staff, on-site restaurant, and great outdoor eating areas were just icing on the cake. I can't wait to come back and try the restaurant and bar!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel is conveniently located near a popular Farmers Market, and guests can easily access The Grove. It's a perfect spot to explore the city. Additionally, the hotel is near to Farmer's Market and even has a store in the entryway to grab some chips or snacks. However, sometimes it is unavailable to guests when there are private events there, and the noise from building work nearby can be an issue for light sleepers.

The hotel's cleanliness and staff service leave a lot to be desired. Some rooms have concrete flooring which can be unhygienic.

I recently stayed at Short Stories in LA for a weekend getaway. The decor was charming, the staff was friendly, and the free whiskey hour from 5-6 was a delightful surprise. My room had a Nespresso machine and a stylish design. There was plenty of room for activities, and the king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring The Grove and Hollywood Boulevard.

Our stay at Short Stories was amazing! We got great value for our money with a clean, comfortable room and a super cute boutique hotel experience. The location was perfect, close to tons of delicious food options and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The staff was nice, although they seemed new, and the little touches like whiskey and chocolate chip cookies made us feel welcomed. The courtyard was wonderful for relaxing and the proximity to the farmers market was a bonus.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was a wider selection of options. It would be convenient if there was coffee available earlier in the morning for those of us who wake up early due to jet lag.

Great comfy hotel with family vibe, welcoming staff, spacious and cosy room with modern amenities, easy navigation, well-equipped bar, great restaurant with high-quality meals.

The location was also perfect, just across from The Grove, giving me easy access to all the shopping and entertainment I could ask for. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every basic amenity was provided. The rooms were comfortable, with a queen bed that made for a great night's sleep. And to top it all off, the breakfast included coffee, which was a nice touch, even if it wasn't piping hot.

I had an amazing stay at this hip hotel in a great location. The room was stylishly designed and had a great shower. I was pleasantly surprised by the adjacent restaurant, Tart, which provided a superb breakfast via room service. The outdoor area with comfortable sofas and umbrellas was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy meals with friends. Despite some minor noise issues and the lack of a mini fridge, the overall experience was fantastic. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service from Liz at the reception, who went above and beyond to assist me when my daughter fell ill. I truly appreciate her kindness. I highly recommend Short Stories Hotel.
