It was all superb.

As avid bike riders, we were thrilled with the bike storage facilities and easy access to nearby bike trails. The recently remodeled hotel was immaculate and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour and breakfast buffet, especially the delicious scrambled eggs and pork patties. The little lady who served us during happy hour and breakfast was an absolute delight, adding a personal touch to our stay. The manager and Erik went above and beyond our expectations, ensuring that our experience was top-notch. We will definitely be returning to this hotel on our future travels in the area.

The value for the money was great, with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The location was perfect, being close to downtown Madison and having a Starbucks and a great brewery nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The scrambled eggs were outstanding, along with the coffee and pork patties. The evening treat of popcorn, cookies, and beer was a delightful surprise. The manager and Erik exceeded expectations. I will definitely return when in the area.

The ladies serving breakfast were so nice and made sure our empty plates were promptly cleared from the tables. They were hard workers and continuously wiped and cleaned the tables. The hotel was conveniently located near the freeway, making it easy for us as long-distance travelers. It was also within walking distance to other hotels, like the Hampton Inn.

The value for money at Holiday Inn Express was great, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and exceeded my expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The breakfast had many options available and was served by friendly staff. The breakfast area was very clean, and the ladies who were serving were constantly wiping and cleaning the tables. They even removed our empty plates from the table, which was a nice touch. The bathroom in our room was also nice and clean, and the rooms themselves were very well-maintained. The hotel was quiet and provided a comfortable atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, with eateries like Cracker Barrel within walking distance and other good places a few blocks away. we highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, breakfast, and friendly staff.

Nothing not to love.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the highway. The hotel itself was clean, and they strictly enforced mask-wearing during check-in and check-out. We appreciated the option to use the pool, although we had to sign up at the front desk. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options available. Mimi at the front desk was wonderful and provided excellent service. We were also pleased with the cleanliness of our room, and it was comfortable. Despite being close to other guests, we didn't hear any noise at night. The furnishings in the room felt luxurious, and the bed sheets were incredibly nice. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with everything a person might want. Our favorite part was the bacon.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel or the city.
