The cinnamon bagel was a delightful treat. The comfort of the bed was exceptional, providing a restful night's sleep. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the freeway, making it easy to get around. Additionally, there was a lively shopping area nearby, offering a variety of meal choices.

It would have been more convenient to have the option readily available in the dining area. Another downside was the unpleasant smell in the room upon arrival, indicating that it may not have been properly cleaned or well-ventilated.

We stopped off at this hotel on a family road-trip touring colleges. The location was convenient to the freeway and the hotel itself basically seems brand new. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The reception staff were particularly standout, as they were very friendly and went out of their way to address any issues. The gentleman running the breakfast area in the morning provided A+++ service, treating his job with the utmost professionalism. He had a positive attitude and work ethic that was truly impressive.

I was disappointed that there was no yogurt or milk products due to a delivery issue. However, the gentleman maintaining the breakfast area was fabulous!

The staff at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago - Hoffman Estates, An Ihg were fantastic! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and attended to all of our needs with a friendly and personable attitude. They even took the time to interact with our 4-year-old and made her feel special. The bed and blankets were incredibly comfortable, providing us with a great night's rest. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a good variety of choices to satisfy our appetites. The hotel location was also convenient, with nearby shopping options at The Arboretum. our stay was excellent and we highly recommend this hotel.

The only minor drawback was the slight noise from the AC unit during the night, as it kept turning on and off. However, this is a common occurrence in many hotels and didn't significantly impact our overall experience.

The staff I encountered after check-in were rude and charged me a $250 smoke fee even though I don't smoke. They even blamed me for a fire alarm that went off when I wasn't smoking.
