The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had a cool design. The front desk staff was helpful and always polite, even bringing us extra pillows when we needed them. The room was spotless and I felt safe walking around the property alone. One of the best aspects was the breakfast, which was more than adequate and quite delicious.

holiday inn express exceeded my expectations during my recent stay in portland. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. the free shuttle to the airport made my travel experience so easy. the room was clean and comfortable, and they even had a pool and gym.

This hotel exceeded my expectations completely. The check-in lady was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is new and it was super-clean, no moldy AC, nor carpet. The bed was really comfortable. The Continental breakfast was better than expected too: with omelette and eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. It's only 5 min from the airport, and they provide a shuttle. Even offered to pick me up when I handed in my rental car a day early. There is a tram though, and a station right in front of the hotel. There's a Target too, 5 mins walking, if you need to have some urgent shopping to do.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the helpful and friendly staff. The walking distance to restaurants and the nearby MAX light rail station made it easy to explore the area. The shuttle service to the airport was seamless and the Keurig coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. The hotel had a great selection of junk food and a variety of nice wines in the store.
