We recently stayed at a charming lodge in the heart of Amish country. The location was ideal for exploring the local attractions, and we had easy access to everything we wanted to see. The continental breakfast provided by our wonderful host, Lori, was delicious and had a wide variety of options. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely views of the surrounding green farmland. The hospitality of the owners made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Plus, we were able to witness the Perseid meteor shower from their terrace - a truly magical experience!

The best aspects of my stay were the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the accommodating and friendly staff. the rooms were always tidied up and well-furnished, giving a homely feel to the establishment. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always available to assist us with any requests.

One aspect that could be improved is the layout of the breakfast service area. It was a bit challenging to navigate, especially for individuals with mobility issues.

It felt like being a guest in a cozy home rather than a generic hotel.

One minor downside was that the pillows in our room were quite flat, but this is more of a personal preference. Additionally, our room was a bit too warm and we had some trouble adjusting the temperature.
