We recently stayed at Homewood Suites for the second time in less than two months and had a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast is absolutely delicious. We loved having access to free tea and coffee in the lobby, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas of DC, Maryland, and downtown Alexandria. There are plenty of attractions, shopping, and restaurants nearby, making it a great choice for any traveler.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, and really seemed to enjoy their job. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of options and delicious food. The transportation provided to the metro was a big help, and the driver, Milton, was very informative. The hotel had a beautiful fireplace and seating area, perfect for hanging out during a snowstorm.

We loved the spacious room with a kitchen and sofa bed, perfect for our family of five. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, and we appreciated the gym facility with its dumbbells, treadmill, elliptical, and even a Peloton bike. Another great feature was the free breakfast every morning, and the fact that the hotel had free parking, a gym, and a laundry room made our stay even more convenient. The location was also ideal for us to visit DC and Maryland.

Everything is what we need and want.

The indoor pool, that was a big plus in winter. I also enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen, that saved me money on meals. The workout room was open 24 hours, and that made it easier to get a workout in.

Although there were no staff available to help me with my luggage, overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The suite was comfortable and just what we needed for our Easter getaway. The two bedrooms provided plenty of space for our family, and the separate common area was great for spending evenings together. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, and pastries. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Plus, the outdoor space was beautiful and offered different areas to relax.

While the complimentary breakfast was appreciated, it could have offered more options for those with dietary restrictions such as pork, dairy, or vegan. Additionally, the hot tub broke on the second night, which was a disappointment.

The shuttle service to the Metro made exploring DC easy, and there were grocery stores nearby for convenience. The swimming pool and pool/billiards in the lobby added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect, being in a safe area with easy access to nearby attractions. this hotel provided great value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Our stay at the Homewood Suites in Alexandria was fantastic! The room comfortably accommodated our large family, and the free hot breakfast every morning was a great perk. The staff were extremely courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were able to do early check-in and late checkout without any additional fee. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful, and the rooms were clean and spacious.
