The hotel is located in a nice area, right in the center of Carmel. Even though it's on a hill, it's worth it for the amazing views from the rooms with balconies and sea views. The rooms are well-equipped with all the basic amenities you need, including a toaster. The breakfast provided is also varied and delicious.

I recently stayed at the Horizon Inn in Carmel-by-the-Sea for a few nights. The ocean view room with a balcony was roomy and comfortable, providing a great view with morning and afternoon sun. The bed was comfortable, and there was a nice table and chairs for eating or working on my iPad. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast that was delivered to my room on time each morning. It was a nice change to have breakfast in a picnic basket, and it was different each day. The ocean view from the room was beautiful, and the room itself was very quiet.

We particularly enjoyed the morning 'continental' breakfast, complete with a newspaper, that was delivered straight to our door. After a day of exploring, the jacuzzi bath in our room was the perfect way to relax. the Horizon Inn is a lovely hotel in an ideal location for exploring Carmel.
