The hotel had a beautiful exterior and interior, with a charming historic feel. the lobby, restaurant, and salon were all very well, decorated and restored. I also appreciated the excellent service provided by the staff, especially during my wedding. the owners were accommodating and went above and beyond to make our special day memorable.

The rooms did not live up to my expectations. They were dingy, noisy , and the TV was small and outdated.

As foreign tourists, we loved the beautiful and historic ambiance of this renovated hotel. The elegant wood carvings and plaster scrolling added a touch of class to our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. The breakfast servings were enjoyable with plenty of options. The adjacent restaurant had a variety of tasty menu offerings, and we particularly loved the salmon. JoBeth at the front desk not only greeted us warmly but also cooked our delicious morning breakfast. We also had a fun time eating at the restaurant.

The location was still very close to restaurants, making it convenient for dining options. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing me with all the extra things I needed, such as an extra pillow, towel, and luggage rack. Additionally, the breakfast provided ample options and was delicious.

The hot breakfast provided was delicious and homemade. The proprietor Keith was welcoming and helpful, and I even took home some beautiful jewelry made by his sister-in-law. I will definitely be back soon!

The staff really left an impression on me with their great service & informative nature, making me feel welcome from the start. I also appreciated the various room amenities, including the heating and air conditioning.

The historic charm of this hotel was absolutely incredible. It really felt like stepping back in time. the lobby and restaurant were beautifully restored, and it was fascinating to learn about the history of the building. the room, although somewhat sparse, was clean and comfortable. the bathroom had good water pressure in the shower, and I really appreciated the complimentary bottles of water. the location was also key , right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything Clayton had to offer.

There were a few downsides to my stay. the room was a bit noisy, especially because of its location on the street.
