The history and charm of this building was captivating. The restaurant was inviting with amazing food. Despite the limited parking, I was able to find street parking nearby. I'd recommend a stay here.

The bed was a bit firm for my liking, but still comfortable. The bathroom in our room was spacious and well-maintained. The hotel's location in the heart of the town was a major plus, as it allowed us to easily explore the shops and restaurants in the area. The complimentary breakfast served on the second-floor veranda was a great way to start the day.

The handrails in the hotel should be cleaned more frequently, as they felt sticky and grimy. The elevator was quite slow, which could be frustrating at times.

We had a wonderful surprise at the Hotel Sutter! Even though it was a quiet winter day in Sutter Creek, the restaurant was open for lunch. The mushroom soup and Reuben sandwich were absolutely delicious. The dining room had a charming, authentic atmosphere. We were impressed with the attentive and friendly table service, even though there were only a few other tables occupied. we highly recommend this hotel for a great dining experience in a historic setting.

I also enjoyed the outdoor dining areas on both the first and second floors. They provided a lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal or drink. Additionally, the hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the nearby shops, restaurants, and cafes. It made it easy to walk around and experience everything the area had to offer.

There were a few drawbacks to my stay at this hotel. the rooms lacked proper space for guest items, with small tables mostly taken up by lamps and other amenities.
