A Perfect Base for Exploring Austin's Vibrant Downtown Scene

I had an awesome time walking around, with vibrant 6th Street just a half a mile away, where I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and caught some great live music with plenty of food trucks nearby for late-night cravings; the hotel is also close to other attractions like the French Legation Museum and The Driskill, making it super convenient for sightseeing on foot, plus breakfast was excellent with a buffet full of options like fresh fruits and hot meals;

Every single staff member was a joy to be around! My spacious room was clean and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. The location was fab, with easy access to local hotspots and a lovely pool to relax by!

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to concert venues and close to the university. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great gym left a good impression. check-in was frustrating; I had to wait longer than promised. The breakfast options got repetitive after a few days, and there were moments when essentials like toilet paper were missed. The room's design felt like a cozy studio, but renovations left some areas noisy and inconvenient. Despite quirks, I would consider returning for the staff's hospitality and the prime location.

I couldn't believe how loud it was at night. The bar across the street blasted music until 2 am, making it impossible to get any sleep. The windows shook from the noise—it was such a frustrating experience!

Cleanliness was an issue; ants were present, and the bathroom showed signs of neglect. The fold-out couch was inadequate for three guests. Breakfast included fresh berries, which was a nice touch, although the options were basic. While the room was accommodating, it felt dark and a bit worn. Proximity to bars was a plus, but noise from nearby establishments made for restless nights.

The hot breakfast buffet was a treat; I indulged in omelettes and greek yogurt. The H Bar served delightful cocktails. The front desk gave me great tips about the area.

Rooms were uncomfortably hot despite adjusting the AC, and cleanliness left something to be desired. Issues like hair in the shower and a broken bathroom door can't be overlooked. Intermittent card-key troubles were frustrating, and housekeeping was inconsistent. On a brighter note, the view was nice, and the bed comfortable. With improvements needed, it still serves well for leisurely visits but may fall short for work-related travel.

Excellent hotel, excellent amenities with a comfortable bed to relax after a day of exploring and a well-prepared breakfast to kickstart the next adventure.
