I had a delightful stay at Hyatt House Tempe Phoenix University. The front desk staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and were quick to assist with my luggage. The rooftop terrace was a lovely escape, providing a perfect setting to relax with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. My room was spacious and well-equipped, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. Breakfast included a satisfying selection of items, such as fresh fruit and a variety of pastries, which I greatly appreciated.

Street noise was noticeable at times.

The King Studio with Kitchen and Sofa Bed felt spacious and cozy, almost like a mini apartment, making it easy to relax after a long day. The rooftop bar offered decent views, giving a nice spot to unwind, although it could use a bit more variety in the drink selection.

The breakfast options were pretty disappointing, focusing heavily on sugar and fats, with cold scrambled eggs being a frequent letdown. Cleaning services were clearly lacking, as I noticed crumbs and dust that shouldn't be there after spending a premium. Parking fees were unexpectedly high at $15 per night, which definitely wasn't communicated upfront. To top it off, the restaurant had limited hours and choices, closing early without much notice, making it hard to grab a decent meal on-site when you needed it. Overall, if you're set on health-focused dining, you'll have to trek a fair distance to find anything worthwhile.

the stay was pretty chill, the rooftop bar had some sick views. loved the comfy rooms that felt like tiny apartments, super spacious. breakfast was decent with a lot of choices, even tho the hot stuff didn't stay hot. front desk staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome. the area is walkable with tons of stuff to do nearby!

but i had no hot water for showers every morning, which was annoying. plus, some of the breakfast options got kinda repetitive and could use more variety.
