Disappointment from start to finish. The room was cramped, the bed felt like a rock, and cleanliness left much to be desired. The street noise was unbearable, disrupting sleep. Breakfast? An unfortunate joke—rubbery eggs and burnt bacon, all overshadowed by a cockroach sighting. The elevator situation was maddening. One painfully slow lift that made me late to every meeting. The only saving grace was the staff; they were friendly and genuinely apologetic. Still, not enough to redeem the experience. There are far better options available that won’t leave you frustrated and wishing for a refund.

Room design is spacious and clean. Breakfast needed better options; no bacon served at all. Happy hour was enjoyable with good prices at the rooftop bar.

The staff at Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, truly enhancing our experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the White House and many restaurants.

So, the location was top-notch, just a hop, skip, and a jump from the White House and all the nifty spots. Easy peasy to get around, you know? The breakfast was a real treat, I mean, great coffee and a comfy room to chow down. Can't complain about that!

Great location next to St Regis and close to tourist spots. Spacious room for a family of 4 with lots of amenities like a flat-screen TV, fridge, and free toiletries. Breakfast has good choices and tasted nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Chrystallyn. Fitness center was a nice bonus.

The place has a nice restaurant with pizza and sandwiches and a CVS right across the street for snacks or anything you need, plus valet parking was smooth and friendly, shoutout to Alonzo. The breakfast was solid too, lots of options for everyone and a big room with a comfy bed and a clean vibe, just make sure you get there early if the hotel is full.

It wasn't cheap by any means but still reasonable for what you get.

Perfect for Strolling to DC's Best Attractions

I had an amazing stay where I could easily walk to The White House in about 15 minutes and the Washington Monument in about 25 minutes, allowing me to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city while passing by many landmarks and great parks; the hotel also offered a wonderful complimentary breakfast and friendly staff making for a pleasant experience, but sometimes finding a table for breakfast could be challenging.

I could imagine myself as a business mogul in the 24-hour business center and sipping craft cocktails at the rooftop bar. Conveniently close to the White House and cultural spots.

The room was clean and quite comfortable. the bed was less so; it felt worn and could use replacement. Temperature control worked well, allowing for a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, noise was an issue; the adjacent nightclub played loud music until 2 AM, making it hard to relax. I appreciated the bathroom amenities, which were of good quality. The view left much to be desired, as it faced a brick wall just a meter away. Breakfast had limited low-carb options, primarily just eggs and 'sausages' or 'bacon'. Two days with no cleaning was also a downside.

Friendly staff made check-in smooth, even allowing an early arrival and storing our bags after checkout.
