We had a wonderful stay at Jean Lafitte House. the property was in a safe and convenient location, nestled between the Quarter and Frenchmen. It was surprisingly quiet at night, and we felt very secure with the coded entry. the property was well-maintained and had great aesthetic value. Jason, the host, was exceptionally welcoming and provided us with excellent recommendations for places to visit. Rachel, the staff member, was friendly and helpful, even personally showing us where to park and pointing out local grocery stores. We truly felt like valued guests and would choose to stay here again.

From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. the hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore the city on foot and catch a cab whenever we needed to. Our room was equipped with a spacious fridge and air conditioning, making our stay even more convenient. the reliable wifi and secure access codes provided us with peace of mind. We fell in love with the hotel's historic charm and felt like we discovered a hidden gem. We initially planned for a short stay, but ended up extending our vacation to two weeks because of how relaxed and at home we felt.

I came for a staycation with friends in Nola and found a hidden gem at Jean Lafitte House. The hotel had an old-fashioned charm that perfectly captured the style of the city. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. Having kitchen facilities was a great bonus. The location was excellent, offering great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. I originally planned for a 4-day stay, but the relaxed atmosphere convinced me to extend my vacation to two weeks.

the Jean Lafitte House provided an excellent location, within easy walking distance to all the attractions and even convenient for cab rides, even during the bustling festival season. the staff was always polite and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. the room itself was equipped with modern amenities, such as a large fridge and air conditioning, which made my stay comfortable. the strong WiFi connection was a plus. I also felt safe during my stay, thanks to the coded gate at the entrance and the coded lock on my room door. the ambience of the hotel, set in a cool old building, added to the overall experience.

The general areas of the hotel were clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with spacious rooms and comfortable temperatures to combat the hot weather. it was a delightful experience.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is the availability of laundry facilities. It would have been helpful to have access to laundry rooms, as some previous guests had reported, in order to wash our clothes during our stay.

The staff, especially Wendy the manager, were incredibly welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay at a beautiful hidden treasure in the perfect location. The exposed bricks and high ceilings with wooden beams were stunning. I loved the balcony overlooking the courtyard and mini pool. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this place!
