One of the highlights for me was the attention to detail shown by the local owners who actually work at the motel. The room I stayed in was spacious and tidy, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a refrigerator and microwave included, something that many smaller motels don't offer unless you book a larger room or suite. Plus, the fact that this motel is pet-friendly was an added bonus. I will definitely remember this hidden gem and would be more than happy to return.
