La Cuesta Inn was newly remodeled and very clean. The rooms are very large, nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and have plenty of AC.

The spa was unbearable due to the extreme smell of chlorine vapor, causing discomfort and concerns for public health. Upon informing the front desk, no action was taken, and the issue seemed to be disregarded the following day.

Friendly and efficient staff, with quick check-in. the lobby was modern and welcoming. the room was spacious and clean, with useful amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave. the bed was very comfortable. the room also had power outlets by the nightstands, perfect for charging devices. a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The bathroom could use a remodel, with old fixtures and signs of wear and tear. the shower/tub combo had mold in the grout, which was not appealing.

Despite the noise from the nearby freeway, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. The property was impeccably clean and the staff was friendly. I also appreciated the extra touches like fresh flowers on the breakfast tables and the availability of cookies and movies. I will definitely be staying here again!

I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting Cal Poly for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and I enjoyed browsing the great selection of movies in the lobby. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at a hotel located just a short drive from a charming downtown street market. The hotel was conveniently located off the Pacific Coast Highway with plenty of secure parking available. We were impressed with the clean, modern, and updated rooms that offered cozy beds, a comfort-focused bathroom, and a fantastic service that made us feel right at home. The breakfast area offered a variety of fresh and delicious choices, including pancakes, cereals, oatmeal, bagels. The facilities were top-notch and included a lovely balcony from which one could enjoy a quiet morning coffee or late-night drink.

The underground parking was a bit tricky to navigate, even for our average-sized car.

This hotel offered good value for the price. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and ample space. I particularly enjoyed having a balcony, which overlooked the serene whispering pine trees. The staff was friendly and provided attentive service. The location was also convenient for a quick stop during our journey.

Good breakfast selection - decaf, coffee and hot water available all day. Comfy bed, small pool but nice for sunbathing after a nearby trail walk. Shuttle bus runs Thursdays for farmers market. 30min walk to town, with bars and restaurants along the way.
