We recently stayed at a hotel for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The lobby and dining room were clean and well-maintained. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Our room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the room at the perfect temperature. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast. It had a wide variety of delicious options, including scrambled eggs with bacon, homestyle fried potatoes, and hot oatmeal with various toppings. our experience at this hotel was great, and we would highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at La Quinta in Mathis for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised when they allowed us to check in early due to an approaching hurricane. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great, ensuring a restful sleep. The pools were a nice touch, providing relaxation during the day. Despite the hurricane, the hotel remained peaceful and we couldn't even hear the wind. a fantastic experience.

We stayed at a hotel during the Christmas season and enjoyed the festive ambiance with beautiful decorations and a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and shopping centers. Additionally, the staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay.

Our stay was marred by several negative aspects. The cleanliness of the rooms was subpar, with dirty bathrooms and unclean showers.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, new hotel feel, great fitness center, excellent complimentary breakfast, pleasant staff.

I gotta say, the value for the money was on point. The room was super clean and had a fresh, new feel to it. The staff at La Quinta Mathis were so friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

The food for breakfast could've been better, maybe some more variety would've been nice.

Everything is what I need and want.

During our weekend stay, we were impressed with the complimentary breakfast and wifi. The breakfast had a variety of options to choose from including fresh fruit and cereal. The location was perfect for us, a short distance from the main highway and close to restaurants. We also appreciated the option for late checkout which gave us more time to explore the town.

It seemed that the hotel did not monitor the pool usage and many non-guests were using it, leaving no space for those staying at the hotel. This made it difficult for us to enjoy this amenity during our stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the I-37 area of Mathis Mathis, Texas. The location was super convenient, as it was close to restaurants and a convenient store. It made it easy for me to grab a bite to eat or pick up any essentials I needed. The staff at this hotel were also very friendly and provided great service. The basic amenities in the rooms were exactly what I needed, and having two queen beds was a plus. Despite one minor issue with the AC unit, everything else was comfortable and clean. I also enjoyed the breakfast served at the hotel - it was a nice way to start the day.

The hotel lacks proper security measures, leaving guests feeling unsafe with the doors propped open, risking the security of the hotel.

Good breakfast selection with fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, waffles, eggs. Eating area kept clean, and items consistently refilled. Appreciated early check-in for a funeral, allowing us to freshen up and make it to the service on time. Continental breakfast prepped us for the trip back home. Minor issue handled professionally. Will stay again in the future.
