This hotel is an amazing value for the money. It's very affordable and well worth it. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms have a great balcony overlooking the Blacksmith Shoo bar. The location is perfect – right on the Mississippi river, close to most everything in French Quarter but yet in a quiet setting.

Our room, located out back facing the courtyard, was very loud during Mardi Gras due to the nearby bar playing loud music. the room was also quite cold and the AC/heating unit did not blow hot air.

The bathroom layout is inconvenient, with the toilet next to the sink. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room key is an actual key. There are bars nearby. The room is quiet.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter but surprisingly quiet and peaceful. I could easily walk to popular restaurants like Stanley and explore the vibrant streets of this city.

Had an amazing city break! the hotel was full of authentic features and stunning artwork, which was an added bonus. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Coffee was readily available, which was perfect for us early risers, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. the property is located in a key position as it is central to all the action but far away enough to avoid a lot of noise. We loved being able to easily walk around the area.

Although we had a fantastic stay, there were a couple of minor issues. the balcony didn't offer enough seating space.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the action. It was within walking distance to popular attractions and great restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. the room itself was comfortable and clean, with a cozy bed that allowed me to get a good night's sleep.

There were a few minor issues with the room. the temperature control was a bit tricky, as the thermostat was located in the hallway and I didn't have full control over the room temperature.

We stayed here for Mardi Gras and had a fantastic time. I love unique hotels with history, and this one definitely hits the mark. The old mansion setting gives each room its own charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is situated in a great location, within walking distance of everything in the quarter. The rooms are clean and full of character, with beautiful art by local artists throughout. Our room was lovely, but we can't wait to try the one with the private balcony next time.

The staff were amazing, and the atmosphere had a vintage New Orleans feel. The location was excellent, close to Bourbon Street and French Quarter attractions. Walking distance to French Market and Cafe du Monde. Great view of the city from the room. Stacy was incredibly helpful in finding a tour guide that catered to our schedule.

Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.
